{happy fall}

when we first moved into this house, this little aspen in our backyard was not so impressive.

to be honest, it's still pretty tall and gangly.

and i am not guessing it will ever be as full and round as the ones in the front yard.

but this year i noticed something.

beautiful, bright, bold, color.

mmmmmm, the color!

so much color, that the fullness doesn't matter.

perhaps there's a little life lesson in that.

i'll let you decide what it might be. :)
